Phone Calls and Direct Text Messages from Our Shop

Our team may contact you via live phone call or manually-sent text message from our business line to respond to inquiries, discuss quotes, confirm orders, coordinate appointments, and provide customer support. These are human-to-human, conversational communications initiated in direct response to your interaction with us.

By providing your phone number in connection with an inquiry, quote request, or purchase, you consent to being contacted in this manner. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time by requesting so directly during any communication or by contacting us at the information below. These communications are not part of our automated SMS program and are not governed by the STOP/HELP opt-out mechanism described in the next section.

Automated SMS Program (A2P)

We also operate an automated SMS program through our SMS provider (Twilio), which uses a dedicated SMS number managed through Twilio to deliver system-generated transactional messages. These include quotes, invoices, receipts, order confirmations, and appointment reminders.

Participation in this program requires a separate, affirmative opt-in via the SMS consent checkbox on our contact and quote forms. Text messaging opt-in data and consent records are collected and stored securely. Your mobile phone number and contact information used for this program will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes, except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

Automated SMS Opt-Out

You can opt out of our automated SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message sent through our automated system. After you send “STOP,” we will send you a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. If you decide to rejoin, simply opt in again as you did the first time.

Please note that opting out of automated SMS may prevent you from receiving system-generated updates regarding your orders and appointments. Our team may still contact you directly by phone or manual text in connection with an active transaction.

TCPA Acknowledgement

By checking the SMS opt-in box on our contact or quote form, you acknowledge and agree that Platinum Wheels and Tires may send you automated text messages through our SMS provider consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable regulations. Your consent is not conditioned on any purchase.

Email Opt-Out

If you receive promotional emails from us, you may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the email or visiting our Unsubscribe page. We will process your opt-out request within 10 business days. Opting out of promotional emails will not affect transactional emails related to your orders or account.
